Multiple Sciroccos and a Jetta Wagon

I'm mostly doing this as a repost from times past for the newbies that haven't been here yet. Many of you know the drill and your Sciroccos could nose their way here on their own.

    Anyway, on to the cut-and-paste!

    Cincy address!

    1353 Gurneyville Rd
    Wilmington, OH 45177

Schedule (much like "plans," which are for the weak, and subject to change since this involves Sciroccos):

Friday: Arrival. Anytime after about noon is good. Any earlier and you may be put to work with things like mowing grass or washing my cars. Dinner from the local pizza joint will be 7-8-ish.

Saturday: The big day. The entire day is spent doing pretty much whatever you like. Breakfast and lunch are on your own. Have a tech procedure you need to accomplish? Go for it, you'll likely have help. Chat with other owners and make new friends. In years past we've gathered the cars into the back yard and spelled something out. We'll have to see how many cars we have and how much interest there is. Ben "Spiderman" Harder will not be making it, we'll see if anyone is brave enough to climb the tower. IF we decide to do this at all. After that, there's dinner. I don't know what's on the menu this year... including if there will be ice cream. I'll leave all this up to the volunteer chefs - they always come up with something yummy.

Sunday: Departure. This is generally done with a mass cruise to Yellow Springs OH to Young's Dairy late-morning. (http://youngsdairy.com/) We've used this location because of the massive amounts of parking and close proximity to I-70 / I-75. Most people are on the road home from Young's by 1:00. I will probably return to Cincy briefly to do any tidy-up that needs to be done and head home myself.

There is no charge for Cincy. However, I do ask for donations to help offset the cost of dinner on Friday and Saturday evening, plus the rental of the port-o-johns.

Please be considerate of others. Drive responsibly. (Remember some of us live around here and don't need the extra visibility.) If you have pets, be mindful that there are often small children around - keep an eye on both. And just because you like a particular kind of music, does NOT mean the rest of us do.

That pretty much sums it up. IM me for any questions not covered here.

And PLEASE do not clutter this thread with inane chatter. There are other threads for that.

Honestly, I couldn't find the actual dates anywhere on here. I was hoping it would be the weekend of the 8th/9th because it would make it more feasible.

    I need a nap....
If the thought of something makes me giggle for longer than 15 seconds, I am to assume that I am not allowed to do it.
