2002 Cabrio - A/C works for about 3 minutes and shuts down. Fans do not turn . When it does work the A/C is cold. Checked level of 134a and its in middle of green zone. Dont know where the relay or relays are. I did change the sensor in the radiator and the fans work when shut down. I have a Bently repair manual but it doesnt say much about the A/C . Any help appreciated.

Get your a/c serviced. Running 3 minutes then shutting down is a sign of under pressure or over pressure... It is also a sign that your heater box drain could be plugged and filled with water, that condensate will re-freeze setting the thermo probe to frozen and possibly shutting down the a/c for
    being frozen up.

The proper way to check is to verify that both Manifolds are at the specific pressure that they are to be. Just because the pressure is in the "green" isn't a sign that you aren't compressing air...

I love the look of those swamp coolers.... I guy at one of the shows around here was asked what it was, and he said "Jato"..... I laughed my ass off on that one for a few minutes.
Grounds, Grounds, Grounds Replace them things.
Divorces, Great Coffee, and Electrics, all start with GOOD Grounds.

    Where are my grounds ?

    Odd.
Just flipping though the 18 pages of Section 87 in Bentley, I find several detailed diagrams describing exactly where every AC component is located, more diagrams show how to remove many of them. Component operation is described too.

Well Mr Know it All, If you would share some of that vast knowledge you have and tell me where in Section 87 it says anything about the location of the A/C Relay.
Or you can come up to NC and I will show you where its at. That way you will know and you can put it in your mommas big butt for safe keeping.

Sounds like low refrigerant or a clogged orifice tube creating a high pressure situation.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

You seem to dwell on the butt thing, what, you got a little Ned Beatty style Deliverance in mind? Isn't it dark in your Conservative closet? The South lost The Civil War, mindsets like yours are why, and why the South never had a chance, nor moral justification.

If you can't find the relay location you seek in Bentley, you aren't looking, from your posts I doubt you have your own Bentley at all.
I gather you are hoping someone here will reproduce Bentley for your benefit, your abrasiveness reduces the likelihood of that happening.

One should never assume. Come to NC let me show you a thing or 2. Or are you going to hide in moms butt and suck turds for food the rest of your miserable life. Oh I forgot your mom said you liked doing that as she sucked them from my ass to give to you.

Earl, please stop the endless drivel. You are giving the rest of us southerners a bad rap.
I myself vote you off the island and will not answer any of your future requests.
