2013 shelby gt500. They wouldn't let me drive it, but they did take me around the track in it. Impressive car.

Good stuff Looks like a fun event! I need to make it back up to VIR sometime soon.

I met a super nice Rossion owner while down at SoWo. My buddy got a ride in the car after the show one night and then the guy ended up coming over to our cabin for a beer Ended up giving rides to almost everyone in our cabin, except myself. I was way too drunk and had wandered away Amazing cars though.

That was the first time i seen an eclipse at vir or at any track before. I think he was having some problems with it all weekend. I don't know too much about it.

    I'm rolling

Love how they had all makes and models there. You would not believe the things I've seen the local Porsche club do..

When he was out on the track he was driving it hard from what i seen. A lot of engine work underneath the hood.

although the worked eclipse with the 4g63 motor is nothing to sneeze at when done right, that body was totally unnecessary. that was just about the worst body kit you couldve put on that car.

Both look great, thanks for sharing the pics! I'd take pops' GT over almost anything else in the pics unless that's an original Shelby Coupe

That Eclipse is a serious track car. He was there as a shakedown for the Grassroots Motorsports Ultimate Track Car Challenge which is also at VIR on July 20th.

I'm not crazy about the way it looks either, but it's designed for aero so form follows function.

    the red vet, ttu 32

the exhaust is to keep it quieter? or to shoot flames at the ground instead at the car behind you?

Looks like laguna pipes. 90* clamp on turn-downs so the exhaust note is turned away from wherever the sound checking device is, usually at a set turn or straightaway on a particular side.

I'm not really sure what other people call them.
