You guys didn't exactly have perfect tarmac. As a subaru owner, I'd be happy.

So I had a blast this weekend at an autocross event held by Masstuning and the ADSI Driving School in North Kingstown, RI. It was a fantastic experience, the track was well staffed, got to drive with a great group of people, and it is far less strict and confined than an SCCA event, but still safe. Here are some pics that my friend and I snapped.....

Instead of walking the track, we did a series of parade laps

And to shake things up a bit, about 4 C-130's landed during the event!

And the video! This was an awesome run. It was around my 8th or 9th run, and one of the instructors offered to chase me with my GoPro on the roof of his TL type-s. So by this time I had learned the track fairly well, and I was beginning to push it a bit harder. Needless to say I found out how popping my rear sway bar into the stiffest setting can effect the handling

Looks pretty awesome, nice cars and nice girls.
Tell your friend to lay off the tonemapping for his pics, he should adjust the basics instead of just tonemapping them.

Did somebody say autocross and airplanes?
(BTW, I think the aircraft is a WWII-era de Havilland Vampire jet fighter.)

As a young boy I used to go the EAA alot, and I always loved the de Havilland Mosquito and similar designs of the era.

I've done events with them. Personally, I think the track sucks - would much rather spend my time @ Devens. But, for getting to go balls to the wall all day long, there's not much else that tops it for the money in southern New England.
Wish the models were there when I went...![]()

Yea I agree, the track is pretty rough. The layout is fun though. I have driven at Devens with the SCCA, and you end up spending 9 hours in the sun, and maybe getting 5 runs in. Whereas at ADSI, I did not have to work the track, and I got about 15 runs in. Its all checks and balances![]()

Looks like a lot of fun, but as a long time autocrosser, the whole thing looks unsafe. Where are the corner workers? Where are the flaggers? I can't believe cars are allowed to be out on course that close to each other.
Who sets up downed cones? Was there timing? (I don't see any timing boxes)
