My local dealer is Audi Mission Viejo, but they only have white and black. I want the white but it has to be leather, not suede. Also if I were to order it would have to be Solar Orange Which the exclusive colors are a 4 month wait..


So, I decided to keep the R. Four months is a LONG time. It makes more sense to stay with it, I haven't completed it yet in my opinion, and with this far I might as well go all the way. Dropped it off for some window tint tonight, some good / big plans for it this winter

Good to hear you are sticking it out, but no one could blame you for an upgrade to the TT/RS.

You have a great build...I think almost exactly what a majority of us aspire to do to our R's.

I've actually sat in, rode in, and driven a ttrs. I didn't get to really get on it while driving though, since it wasn't my car...
If I had the money to upgrade to one, I'd trade the r in a heartbeat...

Thanks everyone. Picked it up from the tint shop today, even in 100 degree socal weather.. Pulls pretty nicely. I haven't driven it all week

Washed it tonight, going to a socal show (dubfest) tomorrow. Will have some nice current pictures up soon

Any chance of that new exhaust video (like your first one but with the added downpipe) you mentioned doing before it goes?

Attempting to sell it outright the way it sits, but if it comes down to parting I will let you know on the brakes. Would sell front setup and rear rotors as a kit since they match.

I will definitely be doing that before it goes. My brother's GoPro mount broke, but I will ask a buddy if I can borrow his this week.
