I think I'm the first person on TCL that put his money where is mouth is and bought a BRZ. I've had it on order for months, and it came in today. I was the first in line at my dealership.

The car is awesome, it's a great driver. I can't wait to see what it will do after I get everything broken in. The car's suspension is very firm, and there is near zero body roll.

Yes, it's not as fast in a straight line, but it sure is faster than my 2 Miatas, my E30 325is, and my Golf TDI (which are my most recent vehicles).

The torque is very flat. I even passed a couple of people going uphill on the highway.

This is my first time seeing a Premium BRZ in real life (I have only seen Limiteds). The cloth interior is very nice, and the interior is better than the pictures suggest. The only thing that I'd like from the Limited is the silver trim around the HVAC controls.

I'm just getting used to the car. It'll be fun to see how it handles the back roads I usually drive the Miata on.

As far as price goes: I paid Invoice + $800. That's about $300 under MSRP.

Bring on the love; bring on the hate. I'll be out driving my new sports car.

    Definitely the best color!

If it's anything like the S2000 in driving dynamics, it should be a blast!

Congrats! While it is actually kind of sad how few people here buy the cars they talk about, what's even worse that by actually buying the car you've lost all credibility. From now on, anything negative you say is buyer's remorse, anything positive is just a pathetic attempt to justify the purchase. Only those posters that have never seen one can be trusted to have unbiased, knowledgable opinions.

I went in to my local Subie dealer and could have ordered one awhile back. The only issue I had was the wait...I would have got my new car in December, and that wouldn't be too fun here in Michigan.

So, now I will just wait until more of these are around.

Wouldn't that ruin the driving dynamics of the car??

Some spacers and a bit low would look awsome. Let us know how it goes.

Why the BRZ over the FRS?

Congrats either way; I am definitely envious

Probably because of the turbos and AWD, I'd assume.

Motor Trend just said in their shootout that they liked the suspension setup on the BRZ over the FRS.

    I've driven neither, so I can't comment.

There are two sub-$30k* new cars that I would seriously go out and buy if I had the money; the BRZ and the Fiat 500 Abarth. I am very jealous.

*I like Mustangs, but a Mustang optioned the way I would want would be more than $30k.
