I just did Old Topanga Canyon over the weekend at 11 pm (didn't want traffic), never done GMR.

I have been to GMR many times on my bike. I would love to join if I could get time off from work. I would recommend going on a weekday and not the weekend, there is much less traffic, if any. Also, I would not recommend Glendora Ridge Road, which connects GMR to Mt. Baldy as it is about 1.5 lanes wide with no center line painted and tends to have more gravel/debris on the road.

July 7th??? That may give me enough time to get a new cat, wheels painted, roll bar installed, and tires mounted..... but then again, it's highly possible that none of these will be done by then

Keeping GTI. Apparently, no one wants to buy a Mk2 16V that doesn't pass CA smog.... go figure I may bring the minivan for giggles & if I have babysitting duties.
