    So I live in Jacksonville Fl and just recently purchased my first VW. I own a 4 door 2000 Golf GLS. Yes it is a 2.SLOW that being said I purchased my car for the mpg not hp and by no means have I ever tried to race anybody. Today when leaving work I noticed a Acura integra fly up behind me (riced out! BTW) at a red light when the light turned green he jumped into the lane next to me and tried to race me. LMAO I laughed and kept on cruising. Then 3 miles down the road I had a Nissan Sentra type R try me also Same thing happened he got beside me for a sec revved his engine and kept trying to pass me or get beside me I finally looked over at the Sentra after 3 traffic lights and noticed it was a grown a$* man not some punk kid in his dads ride. I did the same thing just ignored him and kept cruising. Is this something I can look forward to now that I drive a VW? If so I guess I need to get the video camera mount that ECS sells and put it on the web. Just thought I would share what happened today I thought it was pretty hilarious.

    I dont know if it is your first car, but it must be looking really nice or really rice to caught other ppl attention driving their "sport cars"

    Second, i've never seen a nissan sentra type r is it a conversion between the honda civic type r? acura integra type r? with a sentra???

    Yeah maybe that is what it was a SER my bad lol. No my car is not riced and not nice.....yet! I did just buy it and am giving the engine some TLC before I do the exterior. All I have done to it so far is get a TT short shifter K&N drop in filter and new poly inserts for my dogbone. I am still stock dunno if they mistook me for a GTI or what?
