hello. I am planning to buy xxr 527's for my 2000 vw golf . Unfortunately many wheel sites have been saying i cant fit them on due to the offset. How would i fit these 18"x 9.75 or 18" x 8.5 rims on my golf. The wheel's offset is 20 or 35. Would i need spacers? anyone help
i want my Dub lower than my self esteem!
I was told xxr are not precicely good wheels, more like theyre crappy, but i dont know, if youre going for looks rather than performance i believe they will do just fine, but be carefull with speed bumps or potholes

Im about to buy these in silver 17x8.25 with 205/45/17's so some stretch. But what lug bolts do i need? will the stock ones work? what about the extended lug bolts you get with ecs tuning spacers?
Well im glad for the fast replies, but imo there nice and everything ive been looking for so my mind is set. And 205/45/17. just trying to figure out what lug bolts. You guys wanna help me out so i can rock these "ugly disgusting" wheels?
and im not asking about the offset...the length of the lug bolts...or how much stretch....im asking about the lug bolt! like i know some are cone shaped or something and some are round...if that makes sense but o well these wheels SUCK! i totally agree there just straight pos.....
Fak what all the haters say rock them if you want...i got a cheap pair so i'm rocking them
18X9.75 all around et 20 in the rear and 15 in the front jus bought camber shims and GC camber plates so don't pay attention to them if you wanna rock them rock them
Personally i wouldn't pay full price for these i got them for next to nothing!
stock lugs will not work you need tuner style lug bolts and if your running a spacer any greater then 5mm you will need extended lug bolts tuner style, never had any issue with cracking...i don't know why you would along as you avoid potholes n sh*yt i drive 60km daily on them and if you live in canada u know how fkd up the construction is on the 401 it depends on how u drive took me about 2 days just to get the fronts to work b/c of the width of the wheel
