hello. I am planning to buy xxr 527's for my 2000 vw golf . Unfortunately many wheel sites have been saying i cant fit them on due to the offset. How would i fit these 18"x 9.75 or 18" x 8.5 rims on my golf. The wheel's offset is 20 or 35. Would i need spacers? anyone help

no, the wheels defenetly do not need spacers, they are acctually a little to big without them, but it fits perfect when bagged down and camberd out.

I was told xxr are not precicely good wheels, more like theyre crappy, but i dont know, if youre going for looks rather than performance i believe they will do just fine, but be carefull with speed bumps or potholes

Im about to buy these in silver 17x8.25 with 205/45/17's so some stretch. But what lug bolts do i need? will the stock ones work? what about the extended lug bolts you get with ecs tuning spacers?

Personally IDGAF what you run on your car, cause thats what it is your car. But dont make a thread in the future complaining **** broke cause wheels you got.
Isnt there a wheel offset thread anyways somewhere around in these parts?

stock lugs will not work you need tuner style lug bolts and if your running a spacer any greater then 5mm you will need extended lug bolts tuner style, never had any issue with cracking...i don't know why you would along as you avoid potholes n sh*yt i drive 60km daily on them and if you live in canada u know how fkd up the construction is on the 401 it depends on how u drive took me about 2 days just to get the fronts to work b/c of the width of the wheel
