Thread: Anyone put HID lights in the stock halogen projector lamps in their EOS?

  1. 05-31-2012 09:42 PM #1
I just picked up a 2009 CPO Eos for my wife, it has projectors, but only halogen bulbs.... Has anyone upgraded to HID bulbs?

    Any luck? Flickering? issues? etc....
I did a search, but couldn't find anything.

any and all information will be appreciated

    Thanks in advance...

BTW, this little car is cool.. 2.0Tsi with 6spd. moves pretty well! fun to drive.. such a different feel than my A8

Get mine from the retro fit source. No problems at all but I switched the drl's to the fog lights. So I wouldn't have a flicker problem.

    Yup, just installed a set.

No issues at all but I have DRL turned off.

The install takes a bit as you have to dremal up the bulb cap, the housing seal, and cut/splice some wires. Took longer then most installs but came out perfect.
