Ok, got your interest now to the facts.

    Who: VW Owners

What : We have Ralf from APR Berlin coming down to Heidelberg to Tune VW/Audi

    When: June 16/17

Where : Right now looks like St. Leon - Rot (Heidelberg) 68789 (my residence)

Why: To get more speed out of our cars and meet/greet other VW owners from the area

    NOTE: BRING VAT FORM

Time for each vehicle is as follows: MK4 MY 2000 - and all MK5 GTIs and GolfR just 20min + talks.
If we need to pull the ECU on MK6 GTIs etc. around 1 Hour.

Also he can bring down some hardware for purchase

I can bring some Hardware with me, I have several Intakes and exhausts in stock, but its not the same price as in the US due the high shipping costs and tax and dutys we need to pay. A list want you need would be great. Prices = our online List price -19%, which results in:

We stock at the moment this:

    APR Carbonio Intakes:

    CI100002 Golf MK4 VR6 - 250€
    CI100012 Golf MK5 GTI / Golf R - 250€
    CI100022 Golf MK5 / A3 / Jetta TDI - 250€
    CI100011 A4 B7 2L TFSI - 330€
    CI100021 A4 B8 2L TFSI - 380€
    CI100023 A4 B8 3L TDI - 380€

If you have some tax forms we can sell all tunes for the same price as
in the US! Just converted in Euros. Cash only.

    2L T-FSI / TSI = 599$ = 480 Euro
    all 1,8T = 499$ = 400 Euro

K04 Kit Upgrade = just a Service Fee of 50,- Euro, but he needs to
supply the "Auth. Code" Number from the APR Invoice.

All ECU´s need to be pulled and opened = Servcice Fee of 90,- Euro
Only US Spec MK6 GTI and A4 B8, not Golf R or MK5 GTI.

If your intersted send me an email sgt_bo@yahoo.com I did post somethign about this on the yard sale sites.

We have 12 people confirmed to show up.
I believe we have two Golf R's and the rest are MK5/MK6 and 1 Passat.

So come on guys this will be better than meeting at the coke plant on Sat night. I plan on having a BBQ going on during this outing.

Need to confirm everything with him on the 8th of Jun.

Is there going to be some kind of group buy for this? or standard pricing? How much for the tune itself? 90 euro to pull the ECU is ridiculous... I will pull it myself

    Hi Guys,

I need to get some sort of feedback about the planed flash weekend. Dose anyone put a list together who and what cars will attend? If most of you comin with MY11/12 US Spec GTIs we need to pull and open the ECU´s on all of them, that will take some time... So a Time scedule would be nice. Any other questions?

90 Euro is not just for pulling the ECU, I meant "If we need to pull the ECU, than its 90 Euro extra" Thats a Service Fee for the cpl. work, tooling, risk etc. we need to do after we or you pulled it out of the car....

BTW. All prices are the same as in the US and some are quoted on top of this thread.

Hm, dont we offer a lot?

    - You get it without traveling to Berlin, saving min 1-2 gas tanks.
    - You get the special US Soldier pricing, instead of paing the higher Euro price tag.
    - You get it without the need to pay any sales tax, we accept your tax form.
    And finally:
    - You get the "fully loaded" Deal outside a sale period, worth a lot $!!!

Thats more than any deal would be offered in the US! Is this nothing like you say....?

And yes there is a small fee if your car is "tuned protected" by VW, if we could flash it straigth through the OBD port, its free. But if we need to open the ECU we need to take care about, because of the risk that something could go wrong, a ECU is a value of around 1200 Euro, which we need to spend than. The 90 Euro is a fee for that job we do, for the extra risk, for the extra tools we need and the time we spend.

Ok guys this tune is going to happen the30th of June. No group buys because your already getting a fully loaded ecu tune for the said price. If you pull your own ECU then you won't pay theservice fee.

The tune will start at 10am and the location will be
3735 mark twain village, Heidelberg Germany.

If you put in 168 Romerstrasse 69126.
Once you get to 168 Romerstrasse it will tell you to turn right but you will need to make a left (chapel on the left) and then you will need to make the first right. I will have a couple signs posted.

If you have emailed me at sgt_bo @yahoo . Com. Then I will send out an email to you. If you need more information then please email me.

    Please bring VAT form.

    Thanks
    Bo

Sorry, your not right Bo, again: Its not a fee just for pulling the ECU out of the car!!! Its a fee for the complete process of tuning this specific ECUs, like I wrote above!

The ECU's security bolts must be cut to remove the ECU, then the case must be delicately opened. The ECU is then resealed using OEM sealant, which is extremely expensive, and has a very limited shelf life. The bolts that were cut are then replaced with brand new ones. Pretty much all dealers across the world, regardless of software tuner, charger labor for ECU's that need to be removed and opened so in no way shape or form are these guys trying to rip you off.

I might be bringing the new Golf R down, need to clear everything w/ my wife first....

I could also bring my MKV R32 if anyone's interesting buying it

Great Chris! Hope to see you in Heidelberg.

BTW. We are awaiting a big shipment of APR Parts this week, maybe we can bring some new APR Golf R RSC exhaust systems (silver tips) with us, if needed?! Pricing is our Listprice -19% tax.

    APR Golf R Catback - 1399€ - 19% = 1180€
    APR Golf R Turboback - 2259€ - 19% = 1890€

I know, its not the same like you pay in the US, but shipping of such big items is very expensive with UPS and we need to pay extra tax and dutys! So pls no comments on this, its just an offer. I have no problem if you order it direct. More Infos about:

OK. I have a K04 kit and a APR IC sitting in my room waiting to be installed. I already have a APR Carbonio intake and a STG2 turbo inlet pipe. Tomorow I can finally get the KO4 software and next week I will get the install started.

I got divorced on the June 13th and my Lawyer surprised me of a 1K euro bill a week for the divorce. This cleaned up my mod account and now I hate the fact that I will be stuck with the stock DP after my KO4 install.

Is anyone interested in a Gaming System by Falcon Northwest or Golf 6 OEM LED Xeon housings?
I want to do a trade or euro to help me purchase the Down Pipe that I will need to open my GTI up and be free. Ralf will sell a DP for 670 Euro. I will work a deal if you can help me get the DP. Thanks for looking.
