installed the front koni yellows and on one side its normal looking and high up with the adjustment nipple high enough for the adjustment knob to go on, but on the other side that nipple is too low for the adjustment knob to go on at all

I have adjusted it with needle nose pliers so they are both adjusted properly and the car drives great and is the same height all around

Why would this be happening ?? what should I do ?

    Thx

sounds like the strut mount isn't installed correctly. there's a couple nuts, bearing and bushing that make up the assembly on top of the spring.

any way to tighten the top bolts without having the shaft spin ??

Koni says NOT to use an air gun

a pic would help. COuld be that your bushing is failing. Mine strut was coming through the busing cause the bearing was crushed...

the inner shaft one is higher then the other in the strut tower

NOT MY CAR< just a pic on the interwebs

The thing circled on one side its tall enough to adjust with the koni adjuster on the other side (drivers side) its too low but can and is adjusted by needle nose pliers

Its all brand new parts , I think I need to tighten the top two nuts more but I need to figure out how to keep the shaft from moving while I tighten it

I had a similar issue, my strut wasnt seated all the way into the strut mount.

okay I put it all back together with a new bearing, bushing and top and bottom hat (the metal things)

it sits higher and works fine now but both shocks do that lifting the top thing when lowered to ground level . . .
