Aparantly the last thread I posted on this netbook was called "Cincy 2011 Pictures Thread" Guess that's all I use it for. Tiny screen = not sure if these pics are any good. ANYWAY: Pictures.

    A REAL convoy at midway

    sciroccojoe

Becky drove between Midway and New Stanton

Joe's rear fog REALLY makes a huge difference.

    Becky and Cathy traded glasses

    To brighten the day

    Julie's spaceship

Chuck Blue's scirocco was one of three sciroccos that were dragged in. Also one of two on fire...

The damage was near the turbo. Chuck thinks something caused the timing to go retarded, and set everything alight. A new oil feed line needs to be found.

    GOOOOLD

    Ya don't see a VR mk1 everyday

It makes me (unconsciously, mind you) rub my own chest and belly...

There be a Sunset shot w/ a decent representation of Grape Koolaid in the Sky.
    Well done, well done. http://www.timbox.net/Link/2012/06-0...Friday_251.jpg
If you can keep the Romance in full effect through the Sunset itself and into the Grape Koolaid inthe Sky portion of the evening, well- you've done well...

I saw a ruddy red spaceship, one with a genius aboard and Do I Spy side-skirts? Oh my.

Thats not enough for me. I need some Interior Shots... I have my needs after all...

"Aye!"; to Brighten the Day, even the Norn and Night; bring yon egg-yolk-yellow beasties; one with 'If it aint a color, Ink it out' type sensibilities.
A very Sensible, I meant Sensual color scheme indeed.

I see Mighty Topless Purple and an Imperious member of the Deep Red family; so many Sciroccos, so few not yet mine- but what struck my heart in a nostalgic way was the various Cosmos Silver Mk1s.

I am, in spirit, in effigy, in all things but actual and physical, that car's driver.

Dear Sir or Madam of said Cosmos Silver Scirocco(s)-
On the way home from the hoedown, when filling the tank, when cleaning the windscreen & checking the oil , more so when you hit that sweet spot on the RPMs while in a tunnel, it would behoove me to request a copilot presence, in absentia.

What the hell... I'll add mine!

First off, link to full album:

Now, because Photobucket's new editor sucks (I miss the old one! ), I need to go resize everything on my desktop, and re-upload them.

Favorites to be put up once that's done.

You have now been reminded. Put a sticky note in the back of your day planner and transfer the date as soon as the year flips. I would imagine electronicalish calendars go that far already....put a question mark until Daun confirms the date of course.....

Google suggests that the first of June will be a Saturday next year...so I would bet that I will be in Ohio by the last weekend of May 2013...Get your **** together people.....and contact anyone you know connected with these cars. I'd like to see all the old guard there as well as all the newbies. And us lifers of course....

After the dairy, we went over to Dayton's National Museum of the US Air Force

But we weren't done with airplanes yet. Why? Because Daun. We drove down to Moraine and saw some very old, and very beautiful aircraft.

Also: the SLR eats batteries. Especially when I take thousands of pictures in the museum! The rest of the pictures are from the cell phone.

Looks like a fun time had by all. Bald tires on Scirocco (painter didn't finish my 13s in time to accept the new tires) and a bad fuel pump in the E30 conspired against me this year

I thought about contacting you, but figured you were still ignoring your Scirocco.
I will start bugging you, Pete, and Walt early next year, and maybe we can get 5 Sciroccos from NC, instead of 2.

We didn't do a word with the Sciroccos this year, only around 30 of them this year

... need more Sciroccos, better weather which was windy with low clouds for this flying part

of course this spelling of a Scirocco word would be easier with more type 53's next year

Looks like you guys and gals had a great time. Wish we could have made it with our Sciroccos. Now that I think about it timing is going to be an issue for us since our kids start SOL testing next year in school. Not something you want your child to miss and get a goose egg as a score.
