You're right. I sold one about a year ago. I don't want to pay the fees again.

Can anyone tell by looking at the engine bay pictures if the top strut mounts are stock. I'm adding raceland coilovers and something doesn't seem right.

Beautiful truck, should go quick on this side of the country. Was it repainted ever?

Looks like from the pics you have the early rebuildable strut mounts on your truck. You'd need to just use the spring cap from the coilovers and not the original one on the stock suspension.. but otherwise it should all bolt up the same as the later strut mounts.

Thanks. I don't know a lot about the history, only that the engine and trans were swapped with an 84 GTI.

I have a black non sunroof 84 GTI with a full rocco 1.8 16V swap, brakes too.

Jetta dash, rocco seats, Raceland header.

Could throw in Brand New 15x8 et25 Enkie 92's with it.
Mk1's, German Classics not Brazilian plastics.

How did you release the air out of the shocks when you had them?

I'm just curious about the history of this car. Do you know where it came from? What part of the country did this Caddy originate? I'm interested in it. Could you PM me any info you may have. How many owners did this truck have?

    Thanks

The top switch inflates the shocks, the bottom button deflates.

If I could get rid of my mk4 I would be all over this. No one wants an auto 2.0
