I love spiders, you should too. (these pics aren't of mine)

    stromatopelma calceatum

    poecilotheria metallica

    praying mantises too

    idolomantis diabolica

    babies hatching
in highschool I incubated an ootheca in my room, did the math wrong on the hatch dates. Came home one night from a movie with girlfriend and there were 200+ baby mantises sprawled across my room; the walls, floor, tv, everything. It was awesome.

post pics or stories I can answer questions for future owners too

Love praying mantises!!! Sometimes they startle me in the garden though. There's some big ones out there and it's funny to watch them watching you.
I did used to have an Emperor scorpion, he was pretty cool

I just hatched a bunch of T. Sinesis mantids. They're about halfway through their first instar. I think I have maybe 40-50 at the moment. I've lost a few to fratricide.

Really cool animal so far. I love watching them hunt.

    Awesome.

    I just received 8 new slings; p. pederseni, l. violaceopes, g. rosea, h. maculata, c. cyaneopubescens, h. crassipes, l. parahybana, p. pulcher.
Trying an all roach diet. Surprisingly, girlfriend prefers over crickets
