Someone I know who works on Audis recommended I use this company's cold air Intakes. Anyone ever used them or even have it installed on a Jetta GLI??

I used to use Neu-Speed stuff back in the day, pretty decent, and seems to be fairly close to OEM ( I remember that on the MK1 they had a throttle body that was the OEM throttle body from and Audi Quattro, once we found that out, we were all over the junk yard. lol)

Mine just arrived the other day. Putting it in tomorrow. Neuspeed parts are very high quality and fit just like an OEM part.

Let me know what you think of it. Also have you tried out other cold air intakes?

In my opinion and from an engineering perspective that is not designed very well. Although it has the heat shield, the fact that it isn't completely covered makes it much worse than intakes like APR's or AWE's. There is a lot of hot air in the engine bay and the heat shield definitely doesn't block it all (above/below).

    But to each his own!

The main advantage neuspeed p-flo has over the competition is that it's CARB approved. This is especially true for those emissions-conscious people in CA who want to drive around with a peace of mind knowing that a cop cannot give them a fix-it ticket for an illegal mod.
