WTB: Scirocco 16V DS axle

Hey everyone, I'm looking to eliminate my binding issue wich is driving me nuts. I'd like to pickup a scirroco 16v axle. I'm told it will be bolt-up and the shorter axle will cut down on binding. Let me know what you have to help, thanks!

well, it depends on the brand of the axle, alot of the aftermarket axles can't/won't hold up.

How about a 16V GTi MK2 100mm drivers side axle? good boots, no funny noises when removed. $60 or $100 pair. or $150 for 2 drivers side and one passenger side. I can meet you half way at the Truck stop on 400 north bound just north of hwy 7 for gas money. .

FYI...mk2 Golf / Jetta 100mm driver side axle = Scirocco 16V 100mm drivers side axle.
Only the passenger side ones are different.

ohh really? so all mk2 is the same as a 16v scirocco? So i can just run a mk2 drivers side axle?

Yeah, Remo at the Source taught me that trick...I was building a mk2 VR6 with the stock mk2 control arms (didn't want the VR6 plus suspension or mk3 8V stuff)...and I needed stock mk2 100mm axles. I had a passenger side I scored from Frisco, but I could not find the drivers side...so he told me how he had measured the sticks when he was bored one day...and that the drivers side Scirocco 16V one is the same as mk2 G/J 100mm...luckily I had a spare pair of Scirocco 16V 100mm axles in my stash.
