Amazing episode. One of the best cold opens in the show's history.
Everything is falling off the rails so quickly with basically every single character, it seems like there are 2 episodes left, not 10.
But seriously Mike, tying just one of Walt's hands and leaving his keys on the desk... shame on you.
Gentlemen, you had my curiosity. But now you have my attention.
Shame on AMC for making us wait another year to finish the "season" (Okay, when it's eight episodes one year and eight episodes the following year, that's not a split season; that's two seasons)...I want to see what happens!
The wordless opening this week was so haunting - it was brilliantly put together.
You think you hate it now, but wait 'til you drive it.
Like I told my last wife, I says, Honey, I never drive faster than I can see. Besides that, it's all in the reflexes.
I'll echo everything that's been said. The opening was profoundly sad. Really, really good. I'm wondering if Todd holding on to the jar will somehow bite them all in the ass (fingerprints of the kid?)
The dinner conversation was spectacular. "Did you tell him about the affair, too" hahahaha!!
I enjoyed the scene were Walt breaks down his feelings about Grey Matter. His character makes a lot more sense to me now. This started out as a way to make some money before dying of cancer... but at his core, Walter is consumed by greed and regret over his life decisions. Being a teacher, marrying Skylar... he likes being Heizenberg much much more.
Was I the only one rooting against Hank when he was trying to get the cuff off?? I'm starting to really dislike him. Haha
...Loved Mike's reaction ...3, 2, 1...
Only two more episodes left this season?
I have to say, I think others who said it earlier in the thread were right... the scene that began this season, will turn out to be the final episode or somewhere thereabouts. Its obvious now, we won't be seeing that for a while.

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve"
That tarantula Todd kept has got to play a bigger role in the future. It'll probably lead the DEA to the Walt, Jesse and Mike. Simply unbelievable that Walt would turn down $5M because of his ego. I was rooting for Jesse and Mike all the way. When something's that logical, how could you refuse?
Very curious as to what Walt's new "plan" is going to be. I've been racking my brain trying to figure it out!
As far as Walt declining the money... I initially was thinking to myself, "you're an idiot Walt!", but after his explanation of how he screwed himself out of Gray matter... it all makes sense. $5 million buys a lot of things, but $500 million buys a whole lot more. Especially with all that he has gone through to get to this point. The human brain works in mysterious ways.
