Not the same passage but the same "W.W." written by Gus.

Rest of the series is going to be Walt covering his tracks it looks like and separating himself from his family so as not to have the money discovered. And the cancer IS back....

The ending at the White's house had me on edge. Everything was all nice and perfect; Skyler was even at peace with Walt, which I never would have expected given what had happened. I was dreading what was going to happen. I was not expecting Hank would find this clue, though.

And the use of Nat King Cole and Crystal Blue Persuasion was inspired. I always love Braking Bad's soundtrack choices.

I'm guessing that since Skyler is down and everything is sooo close, will she help Walt???

I would guess he would wait.
If you recall Hank's boss (the boss Hank replaced) was booted because Gun Fring was right under his nose (he taught him how to cook sea bass for god sakes).
So Hank is at risk of losing his job if he slaps the cuffs on Walt, as he too was right under his nose.

That shizz was intense at the end!

I don't know how, but I believe the ricin will have a huge part in the end of the series.

How about this: Skyler finds the ricin in the wall, thinks it is something else, maybe meth, and gives it to Walt.

I just see it having a large role in a major characters death. Maybe it's the baby.

I thought the scene was going to turn into Hank having an aneurysm on the toilet.

I paused it at the end when hank was reading the written note in the book, and it looks like it was signed G.B... Not G.F (Gustavo Fring), unless it was a stylized "F", the downloaded copy of the episode wasn't really high def so it was hard to make out.

I am also pretty sure that walt gave jesse much more then the 5mil he owned him. He probably gave him like 20mil just to get him back in the the fring of thing...

The book was from Gale guys, not Gus.

Cool last episode but it's complete BS that we have to wait 10 months or whatever it is. That's like reading a book and not reading the last 20 pages and then reading those pages a year later.

Don't forget, it's not as simple as Hank just busting Walt. Hanks rehab was paid for with Meth money. I'm sure Walt will remind him about that.

and it was ultimately Walt's actions that put Hank in a wheelchair, lets not forget about that

I don't think Hank is going to go in guns a-blazin' obviously. He still needs to collect evidence. I'm pretty sure the final 8 episodes will focus on Walt trying to clear his past once and for all. That might mean taking Lydia and her operation out. Is anyone else surprised that Walt can simply walk away from the Madrigal partnership, after starting a distribution overseas?

yea they went into very little detail about that. remember, he had a deal with the other regional distributors to use his product, in return for keeping the methlymine and the $5 million to Mike. How did he just step out of the game to appease his wife? There's gotta be more to it

There is no way in hell that Walt is "out". Skylar showing him a pile of money isn't going to change his ego-driven motivations and goals.

It wasn't meant to be a season ender. That's where we get screwed.

I think he could very well be out. But now he will have to deal with the consequences as well as Hank. Those two things are enough to fill 8 episodes easily.

He wanted an empire, and if you're in control of an empire, cooking isn't a task for you. I think he's still in control but he has Todd running the cooks while he oversees everything. Just like Gus. Far from out.

I have nothing much to add but I will echo other things that were said. Final scene was electric. Loved the episode. The scene with the pile of money was genius. As was all of the soundtrack for this episode. I hate that we have a 9 month wait.

Even if all he wanted was to build that empire himself, they went over it way too quickly. There's no way he gets that empire and it isn't a big deal. If they at least played up the build up, I might be able to accept him walking away once he reached the summit, but they didn't, so I can't.

Did we ever find out who Gus's father is? I remember something was mentioned in the flashback episode last season about him being someones son when he first met the cartel.

I dont think it was his father specifically... more his own reputation in Chile, which the cartel knew about but Gus was hiding. Unless Im remembering wrong. I kinda remember the head of the cartel saying something like... "the only reason you are still breathing, is because we know who you are..." Or am I off on that?

Pretty sure it was "I", not we that he said. Same difference to me, but it's the little things in this show sometimes.

But, I never did figure out why he said that or what he meant by it.

It could have been interesting to see more of Gus' backstory, though I doubt we will now. Hell they could probably spin a whole other show off based on it. I get the sense he was some kind of Chilean gangster and the Cartel knew there could be consequences to killing him. Im not sure we'll get closure to any of that though.

I forgot that the season was being broken up into two eight episode parts and thought that my DVR messed up didn't record it on Sunday.

Not looking forward to the long wait but the season has been great thus far. At least The Walking Dead comes back next month..

Did not look at a single post in this thread because I don't want any spoilers. Can someone please PM if they know how I can get season 5 online somehow.

I just started watching this show on Netflix and finished season 4 after 5 had already started.
