Just finished looking at the sales booklet and the wheels on my car are not the ones they show. Peelo801 They show the wheels on your car. I don't know what the correct wheel is.

Yeah, I saw the sales booklet too. Did you get a chance to read the link to the blog post in my original post? Apparently bathursts are supposed to be more rare because VW pulled them and decided to make charlestons the 18" allows that came with the autobahn trims. That's why all marketing print materials showcase the charlestons instead of the bathursts. Reviews are a different story however, and most of the pics we see in these forums are bathursts. So yeah i'm still not clear on which wheels are more rare, but it seems to me 99% of people on this forum that post pics of their GLI Autobahns have the bathursts.

Did we ever clarify the specs of the Bathursts? Also looking for centercap diameter (65mm?)

Same as the GTI Serron 18" rims 'cause they fit my GLI nicely.....

x2. I'm considering the motorsport wheels, which are 18x7.5, so I'm just curious what the bathursts are before I try to sell them

I believe they are 18x(8 or 8.5?), 51mm offset, 57.1mm bore and my 65mm wolfsburg center caps fit nicely. Just not sure on the width.

Sorry if I'm slightly off topic here, but I'm looking for some input/verification on a good all season performance tire for 2012 GLI autobahn. Read a couple other threads and the general consensus seemed to lean towards these:

      http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....WSXL&tab=Sizes

(Continental extreme contact DWS). These in the 225/40ZR18 would fit the 18" stock bathurst wheels correct?

      Appreciate the input!

I'm running the Continental DWS tires on my GLI, and yes I can verify they fit the Bathurst wheels fine. They are by far the best all season tires I have ever had and helped out a lot with the recent snow the east coast has been getting. I have been running them since March 2013 with about 4 thousand miles on them and no issues.

Continental DWS are great tires. The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 or Pirelli P Zero Nero All Seasons are great tires as well. I think a lot of people are split between the DWS and Pilot Sport, but I think the performance differences are marginal.

For regular all season tires Continental ContiProContact for the durability.
