Nikkor 24-70 f2.8
I picked one up back in March, I wish I had bought one earlier.
I've used it on my D800 and D200, works great on both formats (DX / FX).
If you have a Nikon DSLR, get this lens!
P.S. ---- it's not in the bag, but on the camera (most of the time).

i only have two lenses for my D7000, 18-200mm and 50mm 1.4 AI-S
so the 50mm is my pick for sexiness, but the 18-200 stays on most of the time

Tough choice. For sports / action, it's my 70-200 f/2.8L IS. For general walking around, it's my 17-55 f/2.8 IS. Fortunately, both are usually mounted to cameras in my bag. I also like my 85 f/1.8 a lot, I just need to spend more time w/ it.

Canon 85/1.2L

Canon 70-200/2.8L
Both are workhorses for me and both perform stunningly well. Don't think I could ever choose between the two.

It was the nikkor 35/1.4 ais, but now I acquired my first piece of zeiss glass. After the zeiss testroll is developed I will have a favorite. The zeiss lens is a 35/2.8 biogon, prewar.

No question, the Nikon 85mm f/1.4d! It's perfect for portraits, and I use it A LOT for weddings even.

correct me if i am wrong but using my 50mm i have to be really far away from my subject for shooting if i am trying to get all of the subject in the shot i can only imagine that with a 85mm you will have to be even further away cant that be pretty tedious when shoot weddings..... like the ceremony or do you use it just for like the candid shots?

Sony 70-400 F4-5.6 G
Finally got a couple of weekends of use out of it since getting it last Xmas. I like to shoot racing weekends when I can(with FSAE in college I used to shoot a lot, but nowadays its much less). And I used to use a Sigma 70-200 2.8 and a Minolta 300 F4 prime(I was in Minolta system, then now migrated to Sony), and this lens covers both rather well....
My main go-to daily lens for random subject was a old Minolta 28 F2.

It's a three way tie for me on my EPL1
Zykkor 28mm F2.8 Macro
Minolta 58mm F1.4
Fujinon 55mm F1.8 (really beat up with a dented front filter ring)
All were bought for less than $10 each at thrift stores. The Fujinon was a buck. Here's a shot from the Fuji:
