nice......is that a grey wheel?
#1
A recent project at work had this
55 2'x2'x3/4" plates and this
55 15.5"x15.5"x1/2" plates sitting in front of me.
After knocking the sharp off of 27 of the 3/4" plates with a file i was beginning to hate my life. A flap wheel was to aggresive and the pieces too akward for the pedestal and deburring wheel. So i made an adapter....
now my one inch arbor fits on my angle grinder.

Its a 3m scotch-brite Exl wheel. The easiest way to describe it is 1/2 800grit sandpaper 1/2 dense buffing wheel.

yeah.....we call'em grey wheels. Great for deburring aluminum as they aren't very aggressive

what about a de burring tool? One pull across each edge and you would be done.

Wow didnt think of that....the project ended up being just shy of 1000 like sized pieces. Between that and the short edges i probably would have shot myself. I understand why you would mention that though seeing as i said i was using a file prior to that. File doesnt leave knicks if it jumps.
