Geez, time to go racing again.
I predict Schumacher to win. Even a podium will make the crowd go absolutely nuts!!!
Darkhorse is Kimi.....

Damn Lotus better get their act together. They're supposed to be the up and coming team this year, but they haven't had good results the past few races.
My guess:
Hamilton
Schumacher
Alonso
What I want though:
Kimi
Grojean
Schumacher
They apparantly had a 3rd with them. He trashes that and they'll kill him.

I like the way things are sounding!
and looks like Hamilton's a little nervous!!...De la Rosa told @carlosmiquelf1 that Alonso has that half smile that shines on his face when he feels the car is good. We've been warned..

Looks like Alonso's got a car that can actually fight for pole!!
Vettel edged him today by .006, but had a tow across the line from Schumacher......![]()

I'm stoked to see Alonso running so well; it should be a great three-way fight up front on Sunday.
Pedro continues to make Karthikeyan look like the useless knob he is, taking out both the Marussias and running 1.3 seconds quicker than Narain. Kind of humiliating.

holy qualifying!! Pretty fun! Not sure where Vettel found that 3/10ths over his previous run but nice job. Lewis was quick as hell but I suspect Alonso took the wider line at the end once he realized that the pole was out of reach - to get on the cleaner side of the track. Well, my thinking anyway... He has been pretty good off the starts, lets see if he can pull it off again tomorrow... perhaps give Vettel a run for his money; if not on lap one most likely towards the end of the first stint. Ferrari's seem to have an advantage for degradation. Although Vettel is pretty good at managing his tires also, and running in clear air will add to it.
We have a fun race tomorrow. Also, super glad to see that there is only one DRS zone!![]()

Off throttle blowing? Blowing what? The exhausts were made to exit the top of the chassis to prevent such a thing, as it all relied on the exhaust gasses blowing off throttle into the underbody of the car, namely the diffuser. That and the spec ECU teams are made to run now.
Sounds like another tinfoil hat dumbass to me.

I missed being on site for the first time in a very long time, other than in 2009 obviously. Dammit. I miss the sounds, the smells, the beer. Great race so far.
Lap 65 - I can't believe I'm actually cheering for Hammie! Ha!
Man, Merc can't build a reliable car for Schumi this year....

Grosjean and Perez are showing a hell of a lot of promise. Great drives from both of them.
Seven winners in seven races. Amazing.

Another race ruined by DRS![]()
It really is becoming unreal to see the problems Schumacher is experiencing this year; Mercedes really need to get their sh*t together or just get out of the sport.
Decent recovery from Massa after throwing away a strong start. Still, not going to win him any favour in the Ferrari camp...
But yeah, great circuit and a potentially great race, completely robbed by DRS. I can't wait for that crap to go the way of Red Bull's floor holes; hopefully Schumacher's DRS sticking open is the kicker.
#31
Wow, it took one post for one of you to crawl out of your hole...
No, actually, I couldn't give a flying f*ck that Vettel didn't win. What pissed me off was watching Alonso successfully defend against Hamilton, only to get to the DRS zone and seeing Hamilton take off like he had a rocket booster strapped to his car. You can watch the second DRS pass Hamilton made on Alonso toward the end of the race; they were neck and neck holding station, but once Hamilton's wing opened up, he was gone like a bat out of hell.
It's ridiculous and it ruins what would have been an otherwise epic race for the lead between Alonso and Hamilton. And it happened twice.
#32
The RB was definitely a sitting duck on the straight.
I wish that Alonso could have held the lead, however i'm sure Ferrari wanted him to be easy on the tires. Vettel paced as well. Strategy went wrong for Ferrari and RB made a quick call to bring in Vettel at the end. That probably netted him 3-4 positions....
I'm sure that Ferrari concentrated on Vettel too much today...![]()

That's far from a foregone conclusion. Like I said, watch the second DRS pass Lewis made on Fernando and you'll see that, despite his severe tire disadvantage, the Ferrari hung right with the McLaren on the initial drag down the straight; it wasn't until Hamilton's wing opened that he finally took off.
