    Just picked up my Passat from the dealership I work for. It was the only Manual 6 Speed that I have ever seen. (Client ordered it, then backed out)

    Scooped it up for invoice +$200.

    719 miles on my first tank of fuel. I am stoked. I traded my Accord in and am never looking back.

    You can get over 800 miles per tank with the Manual TDI. My best tank to date is 824 miles/tank.

    Certainly jealous. I really wanted a manual, but couldn't find one within 1,000 miles that wasn't already sold (or in the process of being sold). I needed a car sooner rather than later, so I settled on a DSG. Don't think I'll be putting up those type of mpg numbers, but I'm hoping to average something north of 40 mpg (75% hwy/25% city). Besides, it sure beats driving a hybrid...

    Yeah, over 800 with the 6m is easy(with temps 45ish degrees+), my problem is getting a full tank of fuel, with 18.5 gallons I could get over 900 miles if I pushed things to the limit.
