Front Pump Removal 5hp-19 2005 Passat.need help!!!!

I am trying to get the front transmission pump out of the trans from 2005 Passat. The transmission is a 5hp-19, I have the differential and cross drive shaft removed, I have the pan and valve body off, I have removed the tubes the go from the pump into the valve body, but I still cannot get the front pump to budge! I have pried pretty hard on it and even rigged up a slide hammer to try to get it to move....no luck. What am I missing? Please help!!!
