I haven't been to waterfest since i lived up in philadelphia...not too sure i would go again unless i happened to be in the area.

I noticed the show was less enjoyable as the years went on ( i remember going to it when it was in ny), although i do like the fact that they have a drag strip there in englishtown. There was always some guaranteed entertainment flying down the track.

Are you going to run there?

Makes me nervous thinking of running the car. Lol. I would prob. give it a shot though. I'll have to take the car to the shop to get some fine tuning done and then perhaps I'll do it.

They said they checked w/ you, but you're never available, so they went ahead and scheduled some random weekend.

Yea, I'm mainly going b/c there's AudiFest going on as well. (let me borrow your wheels! although i don't think white will work).

I've been thinking about it. Discussed it with a few friends recently actually. Allegedly Waterfest was the **** back in the day (before my time). It was the first major VW/Audi show I went to, that was 2006. I had a great time even though my car got smashed on the way to the show and I was hitching rides all weekend. I went once or twice after that and it seemed crappier. I've noticed a similar trend in H2Oi as well. I wouldn't call H2Oi crappy, but it seems to be kind of sliding downhill. I'm curious if Waterfest will at some point see an uptick and fewer of the burnout kids and beater cars and actually become again what it once was. That curiosity is what drives me to go to the show, but then I remember it's in Jersey and all hope is lost.

No definite numbers yet. Estimates of close to 400whp. I need to drop my car off @ the shop so they can get a new flash on there, and dyno...but usually when I drop the car off, I don't see it for a while. I'm a lil scared...
