    MTL during jazz fest

    doing a CA road trip this summer & we'll be in MTL for 3 days during jazz fest. we have tix for billy bragg & a couple other shows, but besides the festival, any other 'must sees' in MTL? any tips on best way to get around or awesome restaurants? i've got 2 kids, 7 & 11, but they're seasoned travelers & open to just about anything.

    also, do the cops in quebec use laser or radar, and are detectors legal?
