With the recent outbreak of zombie attacks, I figure it's time we have another day at the clark county shooting park. Even if you don't own any guns you can still go and rent one of the .22s they have since they are super cheap. When would be a day that is good for everyone? I'm thinking on a friday afternoon or something? Maybe we can all hit big dogs (or some other place) afterwards for a beer!

So far we have these people going:

    vegaspassat
    kemer
    pineapple (BIRTHDAY BOY!)
    skydive
    a&b.c
    teh prior

We keep talking about it and never following through! I say let's stop being lazy and going for it! I'm sure Andy could use a stress reliever as well. Friday afternoon works for me, just not this weekend, I'm going out of town. But definitely, yeah let's do it!!!!

I think the last time it was brought up was in that who likes guns thread or something. You're right it was a while back though. I'm cool with 4. I think the wife will be in Tahoe that weekend so I'll be bored anyways.

Why in the world would you hold an AR like that?

Because it actually tightens your shot group. Chris Costa of Magpul Dynamics has been using the technique for years, at least that who I have seen start the movement and lead the shift in weapons handling.

I would never have thought that holding it like that would help with accuracy, I actually would have thought it would make it worse!

This sounds great! I haven't tried the skeet range yet- I'll bring my home defense 12 gauge and shoot some clay birds. My 9mm's and .380's could stand to have the dust blown out of them as well.

    Hey! Get your own thread!!

Seriously though, I'm in the market for a pocket gun and would like to try out a couple different ones if people are ok with letting me shoot their guns. Just let me know ahead of time so I know how much and what type of ammo to buy!

I wasn't even aware that Kimber made a pocket gun lol I really have no preference for brand name, my focus is on whether or not I can be accurate with it. Case in point - I LOVE glocks. They are light, great for concealment, modular, tough, simple, and all around fantastic guns but you will never catch me carrying one because I can't hit the broad side of a barn with one. I have yet to find a glock that fits my hand, is comfortable to fire, and that I can be accurate with. And when it all boils down to it, if you can't hit your target you're almost better off not carrying at all.

Just realized this is for Vegas ha I feel dumb haha but if you want my opinion the 5.7 is an amazing weapon the top load is tricky at first but after a few mags u can zip through them like no other. Also if your going to police your own ammo I suggest taking a AR magazine cutting it in half (the bottom!) And tacking a nylon bag to the clip so that all the shells fall into it now I'm talking about the AR 5.7 upper receiver. Now the Beowulf HA that things a beauty . 50 Cal in an AR form extended clip so 20 round magazine of pure repetitive firing. Its almost as sex as owning a 800hp Rolf
