Questions w/ pics about EVAP delete on a 225.

Ill start by saying that i looked and couldnt find anything in either the TT forum or the 1.8T forum that covered this. All of whats in the 1.8T forum seems to cover MKiv cars, not TT's.
Doing a EVAP and N249 delete, and rerouting the PCV system. I already have all the EVAP stuff pulled out and i have a few questions.

What do i do with the 2 evap lines pictured above? The one on top runs to the outboard top port of the little "block" that the fuel lines come out of, the bottom one runs to the top inboard port of the same "block". Do i unplug and cap all ports, or do i leave them connected? Does it matter?

You can see the line in question in the upper left corner of the pic. It runs down behind the A/C lines to the center of the pic.

Does the TT have the "blue balls"? Unless i missed a vacuum line somewhere i dont think it does. I havent pulled the fender liner yet to check but if i dont have to i wont.

No, it does not have the blue balls.

My 04 has balls in the P/S fender liner... I don't know if the 02 come with them but you might want to check, I don't know if a lot of people know about this but just to let you know....


PS: Balls are not blue there black on mine.

got an 01 and yes the black balls are behind the p/s fender liner as well

Well, i guess when i pull the wheels off to pull the front axle shafts off to put the engine/trans back in, ill get in there and extract those now-useless black balls. Thanks guys. Any word on those 2 evap lines?
