Hey everyone. I have a question regarding these two coilovers. I'm not looking for a direct comparison as I know they're in a different league than one another. I've been reading up more about the S1s though (from the little info I can find) and they seem like they are an improvement over the Streetlines in terms of corrosion resistance and spring rates. I am going to go low, will be taking out the helper springs and possibly the rear locking collars/perches if need be.

My question is, in terms of ride quality (bounciness) will the ride suffer compared to the FKs, or am I going to be low enough to the point where it won't matter and both coilovers will give me pretty much the same ride? I don't track my car, it's only street driven.

The Highsports are also a true and tried coilover, but I feel like they aren't worth the money. Someone convince me otherwise.

Also, we all know FK's warranty sucks, and S1 offers a 3 year warranty (and they are located in the states)

    Should I save my $400?

this helps me as well because modding on budget leaves me with less choices. I was looking into the S1's but seems like so far Fk is 100% win

Do it right the first time and just save up for the FKs.

I've seen many people buy cheap coils and are disappointed when the car barely drops at all.

You realize anytime you ask about coilovers and going low your going to get "fk" as the answer no matter what.

I've seen this very question asked but with highsport vs streetlines and all of a sudden the answers change to just get streetlines and save some money lol.

I changed my oil with diluted KY Jelly and I really like it. Drove it 3 miles no problem yet. Highly recommend it.
