Hey everyone. I have a question regarding these two coilovers. I'm not looking for a direct comparison as I know they're in a different league than one another. I've been reading up more about the S1s though (from the little info I can find) and they seem like they are an improvement over the Streetlines in terms of corrosion resistance and spring rates. I am going to go low, will be taking out the helper springs and possibly the rear locking collars/perches if need be.
My question is, in terms of ride quality (bounciness) will the ride suffer compared to the FKs, or am I going to be low enough to the point where it won't matter and both coilovers will give me pretty much the same ride? I don't track my car, it's only street driven.
The Highsports are also a true and tried coilover, but I feel like they aren't worth the money. Someone convince me otherwise.
Also, we all know FK's warranty sucks, and S1 offers a 3 year warranty (and they are located in the states)
Should I save my $400?

FKs.

this helps me as well because modding on budget leaves me with less choices. I was looking into the S1's but seems like so far Fk is 100% win![]()

Do it right the first time and just save up for the FKs.
I've seen many people buy cheap coils and are disappointed when the car barely drops at all.

I changed my oil with diluted KY Jelly and I really like it. Drove it 3 miles no problem yet. Highly recommend it.
