    Multifunction Swap from 01 GTI GLX to 02 GTI

    I was hoping someone on here can help me understand how to do this, or at least offer up a good resource I can use to engineer the solution. I had a 2001 GTI GLX with a multifunction steering wheel and aftermarket radio that I totalled about 6 months ago. I bought a late model 2002 GTI with the 3 spoke steering wheel and stock radio. I parted the totaled car and have the donor steering wheel, airbag, stalks/clockspring, and cruise control relay. I'm looking for a way to wire up the multifunction controls to work with the OEM double din head unit and cruise control. Any advice would be much appreciated.
