Hey guys,

So at my last oil change my dealer told me I needed to get my rear brakes changed (both pads and rotors). He said I had about 2k miles left on the pads, so I opted to wait on them. Out of curiosity I asked how much he would charge for the job, and he quoted me $400.

Well, it's now time to replace them. Just wondering how much you all would pay/have paid to have someone else do this work. Am I being taken for a ride? If you have any shop recommendations on Long Island, would gladly give you/your friend/your mechanic the business.
