2012 Le Mans

Today's the day for qualifying for Le Mans. Looking forward to the new hybrids from Audi and Toyota, Audi going with diesel and Toyota with gas. With the abscence of Puegot ti definately looking like a 2 horse race in LMP1 while LMP2 entries have doubled in size this year

SPEED is unfortunately providing only 2 hours of live streaming (with commentary) to supplement it's 23 hours of live coverage, so those of us without that cable resource will need to look elsewhere for our live streaming fix.

Hope to make the Le mans race someday. Didn't SPEED telecast the whole 24 hours a number of years ago? I kind of remember staying up for about 18 of the 24. Anyone going to MOSPORT in July for the ALMS race?

I believe SPEED had almost 100% coverage between cable and live streaming 2 years ago.
I was able to listen to quali live and am raring to go for the race start

Audi has everything to lose this year with the Pugs out. That's the curse of their dynasty I guess: even if a great mom/pop team from some podunk town wins, it will be publicized and remembered as a shameful performance by Audi. I hope they do well.

As a side question, am I the only one just giddy to see the Nissan Delta Wing turn laps? I LOVE radical departures from convention like this.

What that GT Ferrari just did to the Toyota makes me sick to my stomach

Sad that a silly mistake took out 1 of the only 2 cars capable of beating the Audi's.

A really amateur move by parazinni in the #81 AF Corsa Ferrari. He's lucky he doesn't have a seriously injuried davidson to live with.

Well, there were threads in The Car Lounge, Motorsports Forums and always noted in the TV listings done by BigSue every week.

America's Cup is on this week and the Tour de France starts this weekend...
