Upgraded to a ko4. The only problem with it are the DP bolt studs and it has a hairline crack on the exhaust side. It should be cheap and easy to repair if you can weld or know a good welder. It roughly has 110k on it, but there is surprisingly VERY little to no shaft play. I can take more pics if needed. PM me with any questions.
Price: $100 plus shipping

that is not repairable. i have multiple welding certifications from LA City Department of Building and Safety and American Welding society.
you see the exhaust side of this turbo and many like it, are a cast steel alloy.
im not sure of the exact properties, but it is not weldable. take it to ANY and EVERY turbo shop. they will tell you it is not reparable. if they say it is, they are lying. if you pay to let them "fix" it, your getting scammed.
end of story.
not trying to put you down, or make you look bad. but if you sell this as a fixable piece, the buyer will be in for a rude surprise.

i wasnt sh!tting on her thread. i was educating. as well as everybody else who sees this add.
maybe some of those people who have seen might try to sell their cracked turbo because they took for what she said to be fact.
i was letting everybody the fact about these seemingly like cracks.
so dont get your panties in bunch.
ps:last line not ment for the OP.

I made my claim that it could be repaired because I've had an exhaust manifold with a similar hairline crack welded up/repaired before. Its still on the car and still holding strong! I don't want to call you a liar, or a thread jacker, or a troll, or anything else that's not nice to say,but your lecture or education to any potential buyer isnt needed. You sound like you're very knowledgeable and I appreciate your concern.
