Brother is Buying a Car - Need Help Making Decision

Hi everyone, my brother is looking into buying a car. This is all for a new daily driver. He narrowed down his choices to either a 2013 Ford Fusion AWD Titanium, which he will have to wait for. 2013 Subaru BRZ. 2013 Ford Mustang V6 Premium. OR a 2002 Audi S4, which he would mod out. I told him to get a new car, because of the reliability factor. Should he go for the 02 S4 w/mods or just get a new car? What do you guys think?

If I was going to go for the Audi. I would only do so if my DD was was not very far, and that I would have enough money in the bank for repairs.

Audi had problems in those years like VW, and while the majority were fine. You wouldn't want to get stuck with the lemon of the bunch.

So its really up to him. For me you have to love what you drive. I always have bought, and modified cars I wanted from ones I could afford.

For me I would really like the Fusion. It has really gotten great looking, and if done up will be unique out there.

in AZ, awd won't do much (unless you're driving on gravel or sand, as i reckon there's not much snow there)

mustang has convertible versions if it suits his preferance.

If he thinks he's going to be waiting for a Fusion, he's REALLLLLLLLY going to be waiting for a BRZ. Good luck finding one. If he wants that particular car, he's probably better off finding an FR-S. I hear that Scion is having trouble selling them because, well, it has a Scion badge.

Stay away from the S4.
