My SOWO trip..

I'm sure a lot of you might of heard about my experience...


Heres my car.

My trip.

On the way down my rear wheels both cracked..barrel cracked. Didn't really notice it until this happened..
Now i had a heavy low profile jack but it was so heavy and my rear was rubbing way too much so i took it out before we left.

We used my stock jack, or widow maker rather, to get the car up. While it was on the jack we got the wheel off and a semi truck drove by and the wind knocked the jack over.
Stock jack is bent under my car with no wheel on and the car fell into the side guard rail. Few awesome vw/audi guys pulled over and helped me and my friends out..got my spare tire on but since i have awd i couldnt drive on it..got towed the last 46 miles to georgia...thanks AAA.





finally got to helen.

Buddy who was leaving the next day brought me down 4 stock r32 wheels..i drove around on these the whole trip...still have them on my car now actually.



Here is what my one wheel looked like that blew out.



Had to stare at these everyday in my hotel.

Helen was awesome..drank my ass off..smoked a lot..really tried to enjoy it and forget about the drive down.



Finally seen sparky's car and a few other sick ones..




Now on the way home me and my friend kept switching up, long drive for one person to do.
Car in front of us ran over a shredded semi tire and made it fly right in front of my car. My friend tried to avoid it but there was no time..tire smacked my front bumper, broke the fog light, grille and fog cover flew out, and the tire bounced off and then smacked my passenger door making a dent..







So here is some good news..


Already got a new bumper and got it painted. Bought all the pieces i lost..just need to finish customizing the bumper to fit and make brackets for the fogs.

My gottis are getting fixed..all the cracks are getting welded by my buddy..really hoping they hold up. Going with a bigger tire size when i put them back on..


For now i'm getting my winter wheels mounted again and will go to shows like this until i get everything back together




So thats my SOWO12 trip..hopefully i have a lot better luck next year if i end up going.

Sucks man. On the way back from SOWO at night same thing happen to my friends S4, got hit with a shredded tire took out fog light on fog light grill then proceeded to kick up the tire and hit my other friends GTI and took out his driver side fog light as well.

Yeah it sucked. My car came home with so many new dents and scratches it sucks.

That's some bad luck if I ever saw it. At least you guys made it down and back in one piece, even if your car didnt (I mean that sincerely )

No hard feelings. It sucked so bad..i was planning on actually going to the shows and **** too. My friends from here wanted to shoot my car and that pissed me off.


Forgot to mention that these wheels were only on for about a week before i left for sowo.

I'm bumping this. Havent been too excited about SOWO until recently. Car is now bagged. Gotti wheels are STILL not fixed. Actually, they are all still together in my basement. Havent been able to find a place to make me 2 barrels. The welds keep cracking.

This year I'll be going down on alphards.

Hoping for a nice & easy drive down.

Crazy, but glad to see you had fun. This will be my first trip to SoWo and I will be videoing everything. So hopefully nothing bad happens, but atleast if it does I'll have a good story with video.

Also if that wheel still isn't holding up, I think it's time to make a hose reel out of it and get another one.

Lol yeah it was probably my favorite show. I'm working on getting the barrels replaced.
