Hmmmm, This is my new favorite lurking spot!

    Never had one before....a scirocco...

And im stalking two here locally!

One is a MKI in a farmers field !

The other is in a old german guys yard...has been sitting for 8 years; MKII 16v

    I'm hoping to get both!

It is my sincere wish that I soon have pictures of both to post up here !!

(Sorry, that may not have been you...)

It's running great. I need to post up some more current pictures.

Might do that after a little wax application.

We're here to help in which ever one you pick up.

    Wow . Two .

I assume you want both because they are very cool. The thing is, a scirocco is a tremendous amount of work and $$ and time if you do things yourself. Very easy to get burnt out on these little beauties. 'Tis why we have these support groups in these forums and the scirocco peeps are some of the coolest in the "tex".

Good luck. You will need it. (1 for each )

I dont have too much expectation on the MKI... I'm expecting it to be quite rusty but, the price we are talking is quite inexpensive for the MKI

Well may be coming closer to forging a deal on the MKII 16v.

Talked to the old guy again today, apparently the car belongs to his son...

Things seem to be moving slowly...

perhaps I will have the car soon?

If the MkI is a total rust pit, but you want a MkI, grab it for parts, even if it is a few hundred. That way if you find a solid one with some flaws, you can combine them. GL!

I truly feel sad for you Wade, a scirocco would bring much to your life...........it will however take 10 times more things from you lol
