So I just received my VWR short shifter from APR, but no instructions. I'm sure it's not complicated, but was hoping someone had a copy or a link to download. I did search APR and VWR site as well as this forum without finding specific instructions for the VWR shifter (let alone on a CC 2.0). Thanks in advance.

Emailed APR and had the instructions emailed to me within 30 minutes! Props to that customer service

Once you are done with the install, could you share the details? Easy / hard, things to watch out for, and more importantly a product review!

No problem. I may take a crack at it tomorrow.

      It's pretty self explanatory

Remove intake (if it's in the way)
Remove a couple clips from the stock shifter linkage
      Remove the 13mm nut
      Swap the shifter out
      Reinstall 13mm nut
      Reinstall the linkages & clips

And then, you should adjust the cables per Diesel Geek's YouTube video.
Takes 2 minutes extra to do that

      Dan.......
I see you have the S3 Short Shifter.
Any advantages or disadvantages of the VWR Short Shifter or are the 2 pretty similar?

      Following your lead, of course!

Thanks. I figured it was pretty simple, but coming from a long line of american muscle cars, I wanted to make sure I at least had a copy of the instructions for reference.

I had to take a last minute trip to KC for work, but will be getting home later tonight. I'm hoping to get the shifter installed over the weekend.

I also have to start tearing down my hemi to put up for sale, and that will take priority since the wife would like to see it gone sooner than later :-)

My S3 shifter is for sale now (getting rid of the car)

But I've never tried the VWR shifter, and it's $250

As for the S3....nice & smooth just like OEM (literally), but with shorter throws & at a bargain price.
      I loved it!

I had the VF Engineering shifter before and it was only $100 SHIPPED....that was a nice piece, but definitely wasn't as smooth as the S3 or OEM
