Is it normal to have a rainbow effect on the clear plastic in direct sunlight? It almost looks like oil in there, but it's not smudgey like oil. Let me know if anyone else has this otherwise great headlights. The coding to get the LED to come on bright in daytime? Is it the same as the first gen headlights?

Its likely just a reflection of the plastic, there is a UV coating on it, which maybe what you are seeing.

Coding is the same as on the first gen lights.

Hi, I am interested in option 4, I wanted to know how much it would cost me € with transportation included, to send him to Barcelona, Spain and I would just have it. And if there is some kind of problem with customs? Thank you very much.

I have them, but I dont sell the HID kit on the back cover. These HID kits are very poor quality, I highly do not recommend them, and wont sell them.

Just get one of my regular HID Kit, and install the Ballasts underneath the lights or elsewhere.

If you have a Golf 6 or Sportwagen and it came with halogen headlights, it will work.

If you have the OEM Xenons, it will not, unless you do a lot of re-wiring, and you lose the autoleveling feature...

I have a new shipment coming arriving in about 5-6 weeks.

I will be looking into Headlights and Taillights. I have done a lot of reading and they are looking like a quality product.

I emailed you for a quote for headlights, HID kit that you have listed and sell for a little bit more with the headlights, and LED dark red tails.

Any time frame on when you will have more stock

Thanks for all that you do in the VW community

Yes, they are on the way over.

    I also have:

    LED Taillights
    Golf R side skirts
    ABT side skirts

and HID kits for the Golf.

These are absolutely brilliant. That being said I have some questions on the chrome 15 LED ones. Will the LEDs work as my DRL and will they stay on when I actually flip on my lights?

Hey Ed, I bought the Black Golf R reps w/o LEDs and a 35w xenon kit. Install went perfect but now I'm getting a lot of flickering from the xenons.

Would this be an issue with the coding or with the wattage of the HID kit?

Did you do coding, and do you still have your DRLs enabled. If you do have your DRLs enabled, its likely that is the cause of your flickering.

Before you start your engine, turn the headlights to the on position, than start. See if there is any flickering, if not, than you need to code.

Basically, DRLs use less power, and its not enough to turn on the HID Ballasts which is the cause of the flickering.

DRLs are disabled. I'll have another look through the coding but which byte should I be looking at in specific for this issue?
