I figure I can't be the only one with a great appreciation for this kind of music, My appreciation for it really came from my love of Jazz music. ? Anyhow what are your favorites?

    What I've been spinning lately:

I've got a bunch of high end vintage audio gear I'm clearing out, restored Marantz 4270 - better than new condition; Pioneer SX-5590, 8/10; Concept 16.5, 8/10 cosmetically - 10/10 function. Various high end vintage speakers: Rectilinear Research, AR, Kenwood, Infinity, McIntosh, Leslie 251. PM me for details, clearing out to finance home theater upgrade.

Nice selection and you're right here in the A. I live in SW ATL off of Camp Creek.

Some of this I'm posting is old, but still in heavy rotations

Huge Flying Lotus fan, I've been spinning a lot of Thundercat lately too.

In my kitchen at work - Sundays are Soulful sundays, Sundays really always have been like that for me - and I've carried the tradition with me... My Chef embraced it right away, and I get to put together the entire Sunday playlist now haha - customers love it.

    This past Sunday's playlist:
Jill Scott - Who is Jill Scott?
    Sade - Lover's Live
    Raphael Saadiq - Instant Vintage
    Musiq Soulchild - Aijuswanaseing
Al Green - Lay it Down (his best modern album IMO)
    Van Morrison - Astral Weeks
India Arie - Voyage to India
    Angie Stone - Mahogany Soul

    DJ Jamad - thanks

Do you ever hit any of the jazz spots around? Cafe 290 is probably my favorite place ever, always someone amazing killing it there on the weekends.

Aloe Blacc is performing in August near my job in Brooklyn. Looking forward to that.

Big fan of tokimonsta, Samiyam, Daedelus, Ras G not so much - but I'll definitely dig a little deeper.
