I had a lady friend that drove an SVX, she still had it when I last saw her a couple years back. I know, CSB.

Also, wasn't the Allante made for more than one year?

SVX: Most sensible? / most likely to still be driven at least.
XR4Ti: TCL, and my personal, choice for sure.
Allente, Alliente, Aliente, Allellenete, Alleinte, Allante, Alliante : I kinda almost though it was a Renault Alliance at first, and got kinda excited. Then I realised that I don't think I've ever heard of that car before, nor could I have named it from a photograph for a hundred stacks.

Can you PM me with the location please?

They're rare in that they're never seen being driven in anger anymore. They may have sold a relative bunch back in the day, but between being bottom of the barrel to start with and each subsequent owner caring less and resenting having to drive it more, they've been disappearing every year since.

There were many Fuegos around here back then. I always liked the looks of the Fuego, especially with the canvas sunroof. Hmmmmm. Drivetrain swap?

Between this and the Fiero it's probably safe to say that car companies shouldn't name their cars after 'fire' in any language.

Why did I stay off TCL for 24 hours? I'm in San Diego this week, 10 mins from National City (you must be at the "Mile of Cars" ) How late are you guys staying out there? (are they sold?)

Not that I really want any of those... But I do love antics!

I think it is one of those 'watch the show and find out' kind of things. Anyone who might have participated probably had to sign waivers and non-disclosure agreements at least up until the show airs. That's how television works.

    That's no fun..

I'll take the silence as meaning a TCLer bought one of the cars.

    I think so too.

Send pm's with pics to all of us in TCL. We won't tell and they can't track pm's.

The novelty would be cool, and in good condition I'd be entertained to drive anyone of these cars. That being said, knowing how the cast members of this show destroy cars (much like their British counterparts), if you buy one of these you're probably buying yard art.

The Volvo factory 'whoops'. IIRC either the cars were built due to a malfunction and sent to Estonia and fully supported or they were used by the Swedish police (custom ordered) and then afterwards sent to Estonia for sale as a used car... Apparently it seems that most of them ended up in Estonia.
