Hello question any off you guys driving an Mk4 R32 with the Airlift Lifestyle front struts not XL's but the older types?
Because i have an Mk4 and i'm going to build an R32 engine in mine and was wondering if i can still use my Lifestyle struts because off the weight off the engine etc.

In addition to the Slam XL Front Struts being shorter in length, they also use a double bellow bag. The LifeStyle Struts used a single bellow rolling sleeve bag.

The struts will work perfectly fine for your (OP) application/motor

If you want to put it that way, sure.

The ride is going to be quite different because of the bag construction.

Yes, when Air Lift designed the Slam XLs, they made some massive valving improvements. Beyond just the different bag, the improved struts give the Slam Series line up a more comfortable ride and more coilover-like handling characteristics.

If it were my R32, I would make sure to add a front swaybar tab.

And here in the Netherlands is no Airlift dealer.
But Will i can use my own for my R32 build?
