1961 Gibson SG Special

Up for sale is a real 1961 Gibson SG Special, serial # 36481. Original finish and electronics, was converted to a standard sometime in the early 80's according to the previous owner. Grover tuners, recent fret dress, no headstock breaks. Small crack through bottom of control cavity and at heel of neck, both looked at and deemed structurally sound by a luthier.

Great feeling early 60's wide/thin gibson neck, neck pickup sounds great, bridge pickup has feedback issues while playing with gain, suspect pickup is the problem. Unsure of pickup brands/models. Does not come with case.

With some elbow grease, this will be a great vintage players guitar, I just have too many others at the moment and it is not getting used.
