My grandpa had one made a few years ago, nowhere near as nice as these. I kind of want one. Too many projects right now, though.

So i ordered a trailer hitch for my car (for some light towing) and remember when i was younger and being very interested in teardrop trailers and the DIY aspect of them.
So i've been looking at them again and pairing it up with a harbor freight trailer for some summer fun (maybe a summer/winter project this year).
I Found some information, but not anybody really building them from scratch, only completed models.

You laugh...but yes, that would be rather likely. Not to mention, having a stash location for firearms, targets, ammo, etc. I've been wanting to buy one of those Ford Transit Connects. Something tells me an OD Transit Connect with a OD/subdued tear drop trailer in tow would make a nice set-up.

Oh I'm only laughing because I can actually see it being useful.
For a hunting trailer you could pack all your necessities very easily.
Depending on the laws of the area it could also be used with your idea of camo netting as sort of a portable blind to shoot from. At least this would be one of my primary uses.
Right now we have a 16 ft Kit Camper, which is all great for the family, but something smaller for just myself to use would be fantastic. These certainly fit the bill.

There are a fair number of manufacturers out there now. I am definitely buying one. Most likely a silver shadow 6x10 from Little Guy. There are also a number of DIY examples for sale as well, but, of course, they're an unknown commodity.
Here's the Little Guy Silver Shadow in 6x10 (king bed) with below mattress storage for guns, etc.

That's tits. What's the price range for a decently built one?

About $10.5k. The regular 6x10 is maybe 8.5 or 9.0. I can't locate my price sheet now. This manufacturer is less about the strict adherence to traditional style and more functionality and comfort, which is why I like them. Doesn't matter how great they look if they're not comfortable enough.
