How are these with rusting? The stock ones are god awful when it comes to that.

Adams does good work, I've heard. Porsche's cayman roters fit too, I've been told.

I've got a set coming from ecs in the next week or 2. They seem to be great quality and with the geomet coating, they shouldn't rust. I'll take some pics once I get them on and let you know how I feel about them.

Just looked into pricing for these rotors and they are pretty expensive since I would have to get them shipped up to Canada. DO you notice a difference in stopping power over stock pads/rotors? Do they last longer?

yeah do your pads when you do the rotors, otherwise you run the risk of the old pad not mating properly with the new rotor. pick up a set of Hawk HPS pads, virtually no dust and less fade during heavy braking. i love mine.

ECS is your best bet because they offer free shipping and usually have good deals. personally, i'd stay away from drilled rotors they aren't really going to help increase braking...they're just going to make your pads wear faster. i went with slotted rotors all around.

dbctuning.com or mjmautohaus.com are also good sites to look at.

    here's ECS tuning's link....clicky click

also Adam's rotors have had excellent feedback from both Audi + VW guys. my only issue is that they're very expensive....you'll be looking at around $400+ for a set of four.

Doesn't really matter who you get rotors from... drilled/slotted rotors don't increase stopping power with the stock pads.

If you want better stopping power... spend the money on upgraded pads.

that would be exactly what I would do. Change the rotors and get better pads like Hawks or whatever is good at the time.

    Thanks

I replaced my front rotors at about 55k with Zimmerman OEM types from germanautoparts.com and they're still working just fine at 150k. No warps, cracks or uneven wear. I'm not particularly easy on my brakes, either. They'll be replaced fairly soon with the same Zimmerman rotors, but upgraded Hawk pads and I'm going to install Tyrolsport caliper bushings.

I can tell a difference with my adams rotors on the Autocross course but not on the street. Pads are best option if you are only going to street the car.
