Revo Stage 1 Question!

I just got Revo Stage 1 on my 08 Jetta 2.0T FSI and have been putting 93octane 2 times since i got it chipped.

Is it ok to put 93 each time I fill up or only when i want to drive fast?

Im asking because i read some posts where people said you shouldnt put 93 every single fill up cause its bad..

But can someone explain more please?

I meant that even if you were a completely stock 2.0t you should still be using 93 octane fuel every fill up.

Now that you are tuned, it's no different.

Well when I was stock I used 91/ Middle option. All the time. But now I will def be using only 93. Thank you!

You won't ruin anything by running 91. In California, that's the best we have.

Yeah, anything 91 and above is fine for stock. But if your tune is for 93 octane use only that

i agree with everyone else. only use 93 oct. if you have access to it. in colorado they only had 91 so i had to make due but you shouldn't ever be putting in anything lower than 93 in your 2.0T if you have access to it. also only use reputable gas stations....shell, chevron, etc. don't ever go to the cheapo places like "u fill it" or local no name places.

Sometimes Ill put 92 in it cause I can get it dumb cheap. Works just the same.

I only fill up at BP and Shell. Sometimes I will go to this one Citgo because its the only gas station tht is 40cents cheaper than regular prices like 3.29 a gallon conpared to 3.89 at BP

All gas stations are the same.. All the same gas from the same place, reason the higer in Bp and Shell because of their name..

And citgo is the obly gas station that has 100Race Fuel. Should i put some in? Hahah

I never really understood why there were so many options for octane and especially the differences due to region it just seems weird to me. where i live they usually have 87 89 and 93 and i always wondered...who uses 89?

oh and i always use speedway (SpeedyRewards ftw) but i have a friend that works at Chevron and he said their all the same (as far as bigger name brands) they might add different things to it but the octane/cleanliness of the fuel is the same. But he did mention going to a well lit/clean Kangaroo or Raceway would be better than going to a dirty random 2-pump BP. I just took his word for it
