Already have my cobra imola race seats from the gti (red, but they will work) and harnesses still.

I threw the banner on for giggles since it was my track car and i got it for free too from an awesome shop No banner on the volvo trying to keep the outside stock looking besides a drop and wheels.

Im already looking for a new set of wheels and new suspension. I love the Virgos but they are skinny as sin (6") I can probably fit 9's under here. But wheels are so hard to find in 5x108. Also probably a new turbo in the future, its stock and smokes a little on deceleration.

eh, those dont look proper to me. If I get adapters thats easy enough but Im fond of staying 5x108. esm makes an awesome turbo style wheel now in 5x108 can get them in 15's 16's or 17's.

      Approve.

Overall, I think you'll find a lot of approval here. My only issue would be the janky looking exhaust. I hope it makes great power, because the way it hangs out there, and the crush bends, make it look awfully noisy and cheap. IMO, of course.

For whatever reason I'm really missing my old Mk2 today. Probably because I saw a friend who I used to be a huge mk2 nut with that I haven't seen in a long time.

So I definitely don't approve today, but I DO love those turbobricks.

been looking for one of these for a while. I found one near me in 5 speed, but the color is awful, looks a bit beat up and is non-turbo. This car is fantastic!

      Congrats OP

Massive approve. Turbo 240s are the bomb. Although I might be a tiny bit biased. Is that the same car that was on Craigslist and Turbobricks? Looks familiar and I noticed you're in Raleigh.

      You must be new here.

This is most certainly TCL fap worthy. Why they have not yet been elevated to 'darling' status is beyond me.

Yes it was ~$75 or so. I can't wait to get back from vacation and drive it. And yes it was the one for sale on Cl in Raleigh. I didn't see it listed on Turbobricks but it could have been.

Look up Smokeyfan he posts in Tbricks a lot. He had a custom shift knob mod. It makes a world of difference, losing that rubber piece of factory crap. I love mine, hurst-style "8ball" shift knob with custom Volvo shift pattern on top.

His adapter is a bolt and nut that weld/jb into the top of the shifter lever and allow you to thread on proper shift knobs.

Also to be noted, a volvo running today, may not mean a volvo running tomorrow.

      Nice buttplug

Next for your interior get an analog clock for below the Voltmeter and an Armrest if you don't have one. I only have my armrest down when I'm on a long cruise, but it makes a huge difference when you're cruising in 5th for over an hour.
