cars are just cars... focus on the kid... far more important...
< father of two and one on the way.

First learn how to spell, then teach her proper English.
If need be sell the cars... A child is far more important.
Congrats!
Yikes!

No kids myself, but I'd imagine you will have less time and money for cars. Should have thought about that before!![]()

You guys are rough. This dude just had a baby, give a little slack. I'm sure the emotion of the situation makes spelling and other seemingly normal functions a bit frazzled temporarily.
Congrats to the OP!
One of the coolest girls I know was raised by a father that was a mechanic. Spending all of that time around cars and a garage made her unafraid of the normal things that women shy away from, regarding cars. Changing oil, jumping batteries, putting air in the tires, etc...

Give just the right amount for both aspect. Giving everything to a child can backfire on you quickly. Teach her to get a man that loves her more than he does his car![]()

I agree with this. When she gets older you don't want to leave her at the mercy of random motorists if her car breaks down or if she gets a flat. It seems like lots of women are intimidated by doing simple emergency procedures because they were never exposed to it.

Congrats! Don't sell any cars unless you're still paying for them.... However start saving for her education now.

If the cars are paid for, why sell them? It looks like you have some older cars, so how much are they costing you just sitting around?

If you have a car worth keeping, keep it. My dad sold his 72 olds 442 convertible. And about 3 months later he realized he really didn't need to sell it, now 21 yrs later regrets it constantly. Not to mention those cars are worth a ton now in great condition.
But figure everything out first, make sure that you really need to sell if you do. Don't want to regret it later. But if it's not worth keeping don't worry about it

When I became a father, I bought a motorcycle. All too often, people do stupid, unnecessary things when they become a parent because society tells us we have to sacrifice ourselves completely. Just continue being awesome. And if you're not awesome, start being awesome. If your car has a back seat, it's perfect for kids.

I dont need to sell them and money is coming in but, my wife thinks that i spend to much time on them and the maintenance is never ending when you are never satisfied with the stage there at. So i sold the 91GTI ,the BMW is going for a down payment on a house when we move, the 914 is being sold to finance my 911 project and the A4 is getting traded for a 4 door Mini.
I did not proof read this so all the english nazi's out there have your fun.....ill have mine with my baby and cars....![]()

Careful... You still need a hobby, you'll just be doing it less often.
Don't stop doing what you love or you may start to resent the family situation. I know it's exciting now, but just wait until the fuzzy warm feeling wears off and the little brats have been up all night screaming.
