Thread: MSed 16v doesn't like it when it's hot.

    whenever the air intake temp gets abover around 40, it barely idles and has little power.

    Is there a table i should be looking to tweak?

    Where is it getting that hot of air? Which IAT do you have and where is it mounted?

    I'll have to check which one, but it is mounted right before the throttle body.

    I would think you want the open element sensor, I find that even with mine mounted in the middle of the intake tube it still heat soaks some. And being that it is density based, it will lean it out. How much authority do you give the ECU for correction? It should be able adjust for this and still have decent power.

    Is the AFR noticeably changing, or is it something else?
