I'm looking for a donor car for my MKIII Jetta in order to swap the automatic for a manual. Looking for either a 2.0L MKIII or a 16v Passat preferably with under 160K miles, but I'm willing to settle for something with higher miles depending on the condition and price. Not looking to spend more than $600 on the car. I don't care if it has body damage or was wrecked (as long as it wasn't on the front part of the car). The transmission needs to be in good condition! I don't want to have to completely rebuild anything at this point.

Let me know what you got! Willing to travel some. Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

You know the 16v Passats have 02A transaxles, as opposed to an 020, right?

I have a spare 020, but not the stuff to do the swap.

I also have an 02a set up (from corrado) that has the shifter, slave and master cylinder. Only thing missing is the pedal assembly. It's already pulled, and affordable!
